According to this year’s State of PPC, Podcast ads are a big opportunity for marketers; while over 50% of the U.S. population is listening to podcasts, only 4% of marketers are advertising in the channel.
The average performance marketer is going to hesitate to jump into podcast advertising due to conversion attribution limits, relative to Google or Facebook ads. However, that lack of adoption by marketers is the exact reason podcast advertising is such a great testing opportunity; the podcast advertising space is not nearly as saturated as paid search or social.
