My First YouTube Subscriber Giveaway – Win Awesome SEM Stuff & Help Charities

I am doing a YouTube giveaway, where I give away free stuff for free based on if people subscribe to my YouTube channel.

What am I giving away? Well, two main buckets; (A) up to $25,000 to charity and (B) SEM/SEO software subscriptions and an SMX conference pass. Initially I was just going to give charity but I was told by multiple people that also giving away something my audience might benefit from directly, might help with this campaign. So I reached out to some friends in the industry and almost all of them are participating in this give away.

Charity Giveaway

I will be donating from my Charitable Gift Fund up to $25,000 in total to two organizations, (1) the American Cancer Society (Guidestar profile) and (2) National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) (Guidestar profile).

How much will I donate? Up to $25,000 in total. I will donate $1 per subscriber up to $10,000. I am currently at 7,561 subscribers (screenshot here), so counting up from that number, $1 per subscriber. If some how I hit 100,000 subscribers, I will increase the donation an additional $15,000 and donate a total of $25,000. So I will donate up to $25,000 to charity if I can hit 100,000 subscribers.

I will split the donation in two, and give the American Cancer Society and the National Alliance on Mental Illness an equal donation. So if I gain 6,000 subscribers, I will donate $3,000 do the American Cancer Society and $3,000 to the National Alliance on Mental Illness through my Charitable Gift Fund. If my channel breaks 100,000 subscribers, I will donate $12,500 to each.

The timeframe for this giveaway is two-months from today – November 9, 2019.

SEM/SEO Software & SMX Conference Giveaways

SMX and multiple software vendors in the SEO and SEM industry have offered to give away one or more annual subscriptions to their products. So this is more complicated than just calculating the difference in subscriber numbers, I need to know who to give the free subscriptions to. So I need you to not only subscribe, but enter in your email address and YouTube user channel URL below in the form. I will then randomly pick from the list of those who filled out the form and subscribed to the YouTube channel an entry and notify the winners via email. We have a nice number of subscriptions to give away, so I will give one give away to a random subscriber who filled out the form. So we have several give aways here for multiple people.

(6) Screaming Frog: screamingfrog.co.uk will give away a one-year subscription to the paid version of the SEO Spider Tool valued at about $180 USD.

(7) SEM Rush: semrush.com is giving away a six-month subscription to the Guru level plan of its toolset valued at about $1,200 USD.

(8) SISTRIX Toolbox: sistrix.com will give away a full suite of SISTRIX Toolbox modules for one year valued at about $5,000 USD.

(9) Search Marketing Expo: marketinglandevents.com/smx is going to give a free pass to an SMX show in the United States valued at over $1,500 USD.

(10) Yoast SEO: yoast.com will give away five one-year subscriptions to the paid version of Yoast SEO valued at $89 USD per license.

Official Giveaway Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Eligibility: Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to those who sign up at the sweepstakes page located at https://www.seroundtable.com/youtube-subscriber-giveaway-28157.html and who are 18 years old as of the date of entry. The sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of eligible countries and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of RustyBrick (the “Sponsor”) their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of RustyBrick, as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

3. Sweepstakes Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on or about September 9, 2019 and ending November 9, 2019. All online entries must be received by November 9, 2019 11:59PM EST.

4. How to Enter: The Sweepstakes must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided on this Sweepstakes site, located above. The entry must fulfill all sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of RustyBrick. You may enter only once and you must fill in the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of RustyBrick.

5. Prizes: Winners will receive list prizes/approximate retail value. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is non transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for RustyBrick to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner selection and notification: Winners of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of the Sponsor. Winners will be notified via email to the email address they entered the Sweepstakes with within ten (10) days following the winner selection. RustyBrick shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to winners’ spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 72 hours from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations.
